Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and prinz baka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). prinz baka looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Johnson as baka shoots in.
baka looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Johnson darts in and clinches baka up against the cage.
Johnson scores with a knee to the head.
baka is trying to drag Johnson to the mat but Johnson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Johnson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt baka will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
You can see the frustration on baka's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Johnson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. baka manages to get himself to full guard.

Johnson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but baka regains guard immediately.

Johnson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches baka napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Anthony Johnson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Johnson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

That's time! Johnson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Johnson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Johnson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
