Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cross David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Mullard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Cross David has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
David shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mullard as he avoids it easily.
David tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mullard swats him away and circles back towards the center.
David fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mullard avoids it really well and circles away.
David is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
David tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

David moves into the clinch.
David is pushing Mullard up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
David prevents the takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

David has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mullard regains guard immediately.
Mullard is looking to stand up but David isn't so interested in that idea.
