The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stout looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Stout shoots in for a double leg but McGruff sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
McGruff is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Stout's half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stout is defending against the submission attempts here by McGruff.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McGruff seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Stout is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
