Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesse The Devil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kuyt Van der Wilde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van der Wilde has chosen From Life to Lifeless - Killswitch Engage as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Van der Wilde, as that shot connected.
Van der Wilde fakes high and swings low for a body shot but The Devil manages to avoid it.
Van der Wilde scores with a crisp jab that stopped The Devil in his tracks.

The Devil scores a takedown into full mount!
Van der Wilde wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by The Devil.
Van der Wilde wants to get back to his feet.
The Devil has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The Devil jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Van der Wilde manages to avoid the submission attempt.

The Devil uses his free foot to push down on Van der Wilde's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Van der Wilde.
Van der Wilde is looking to improve his position but The Devil isn't that keen on the idea.
The Devil throws some wild stikes that Van der Wilde manages to avoid easily.

The Devil has hold of Van der Wilde's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Van der Wilde manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The Devil has his foot on Van der Wilde's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Van der Wilde works his way back into a safe position though.

Van der Wilde slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The Devil manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Van der Wilde wants to lay and pray for a moment but The Devil keeps working.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The Devil is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Van der Wilde is just riding it out for now. The Devil eventually gives up the hold.

The Devil closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Van der Wilde to the mat! Van der Wilde manages to get full guard.

The Devil had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Van der Wilde is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. The Devil Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Van der Wilde's back instead.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jesse The Devil will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Van der Wilde looks to land a combination but The Devil avoids it well.
Kuyt Van der Wilde seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

I would just about give that final round to Kuyt Van der Wilde.
