Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Benton Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hideo Nakano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Styles's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rocky Remix. Nakano is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Spirit Fight by Tan Dun & Kodo. Nakano has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Benton Styles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hideo Nakano!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakano takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nakano looks gassed!
Styles connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Hideo Nakano has been cut.
Styles cracks Nakano with a right hand to the side of the head.
Styles drops Nakano with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Nakano looks back up at him and smiles so Styles waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Nakano is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A head kick by Styles - that's a beauty! Nakano is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Styles can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Benton Styles!
