Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pat Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Grey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Twista - Kamikaze. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grey fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Brown shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Grey is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brown lands a big elbow.
Grey keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Grey is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Brown tries to control but Grey wriggling away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brown cracks Grey with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Grey is desperately trying to improve his position but Brown has a good base and remains in mount.
Grey wants to control but Brown is having none of it.
Grey can't escape the position.

Grey is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Brown pulls his head out easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Brown shoots in and bounces Grey off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Brown not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Grey has his foot on Brown's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brown works his way back into a safe position though.

Brown makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Brown is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Brown keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Grey's head.

Brown knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grey on the ground.

Grey is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brown is aware though and is defending well.
Brown is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Brown postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Brown tries to free his leg and advance position but Grey is retaining full guard.

Grey escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Grey working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brown doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brown manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Brown got a little sloppy there for a moment and Grey has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brown has managed to get both his arms back between Grey's legs - danger averted.
Brown controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Brown chips away with some ground and pound.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Brown shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Brown is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Brown has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Grey to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Brown is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Grey pulls down on the head and he's put Brown to sleep! This one is all over!
