The crowd seem to be enjoying Chudo's choice of entrance music: El Rey. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Reyes!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pano Chudo!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Reyes misses its intended target.
Chudo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Chudo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Reyes.
Reyes tries to work over Chudo's front leg with a kick but Chudo checks it.
A telegraphed right hand from Reyes misses the target.
Nice jab there from Chudo.
Chudo ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Reyes takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Chudo swings for the body but Reyes moves out of range.
Chudo takes a swing at Reyes's ribcage but misses.
Reyes throws a shot from downtown. Chudo moves away and avoids it.
Chudo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Reyes.
Reyes connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Chudo momentarily.
Reyes throws the left hand but Chudo avoids the punch easily.
The fighters circling - Reyes throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Paulo Reyes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reyes takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Chudo swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Reyes misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Chudo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Chudo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Reyes at a distance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Chudo ducks under a wild hook from Reyes.
Chudo misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Chudo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Reyes throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Reyes throws a looping overhand right but Chudo ducks down to avoid it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reyes misses with a hook. Chudo ducked under it nicely.
Chudo scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Chudo lands a nice hook to Reyes's body. Reyes takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Reyes takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Reyes is breathing heavily.
Reyes is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Reyes takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Chudo connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Reyes! He's out on his feet! Chudo rushes in and drops Reyes with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Pano Chudo! Pano Chudo retains his lightweight title!
