Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Sotomayor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Arlovski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sotomayor comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman - Metallica. Arlovski has chosen Sex, God, Sex by the SWANS as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arlovski misses with a low kick.

Arlovski fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Arlovski thuds a left hand into Sotomayor's body.
Arlovski throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Sotomayor takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sotomayor enables Arlovski to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sotomayor manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Sotomayor is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Arlovski is aware though and is defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Arlovski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sotomayor has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Arlovski has managed to get both his arms back between Sotomayor's legs - danger averted.
