Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Raiden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazushi Rakusaba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rakusaba has chosen David Bowie - Suffragette City as his entrance music. Kazushi Rakusaba told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazushi Rakusaba!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rakusaba scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Rakusaba tries to advance to mount but Raiden denies him.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Rakusaba postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Raiden is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rakusaba, into his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rakusaba throws his legs up looking for a submission but Raiden uses it to pass to side control.

Kazushi Rakusaba showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
