The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

bull throws a head kick that misses.
Jackson misses with a wild body shot.
No joy there for Jackson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Jackson lands a glancing blow to the side of bull's head.
Jackson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
bull connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jackson. Jackson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

bull creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jackson sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
