Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nicolai Demikovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Demikovic comes to the cage accompanied by Russian National Anthem. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demikovic defending well as Hart loads up on a big left hand.
Hart shoots in but Demikovic avoids the takedown attempt easily.

It looks like Nicolai Demikovic has been cut.

Demikovic rushes Hart and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Demikovic trying to stall but Hart improves his position.
Demikovic is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Hart softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Hart misses with a body punch.
Hart prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nicolai Demikovic. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Demikovic drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hart gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Demikovic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hart shoots in but Demikovic avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Hart gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Demikovic throws a strike but Hart rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hart looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Demikovic with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Demikovic pushes Hart off but Hart dives into side control.
Demikovic is looking to regain half guard here but Hart keeps moving and retains side control.

Hart is working to tighten is grip on Demikovic's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Demikovic has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hart is really squeezing tight and eventually Demikovic passes out! Hart breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
