Emperor comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Era kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filipovic swats away the attempt to clinch by Emperor.
Emperor blocks a head kick by Filipovic.

Emperor clinches with his opponent.
Filipovic tries to circle away but Emperor has him pinned against the cage.
Filipovic stops a takedown attempt from Emperor.
Emperor keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Filipovic's efforts to push away.
Emperor is trying to drag Filipovic to the mat but Filipovic just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Filipovic wants to break free but Emperor has control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Filipovic has had enough of the clinch but Emperor keeps him there for the moment.
Emperor tries to score a body lock takedown but Filipovic shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Mirko Filipovic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladislav Emperor.

Filipovic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Filipovic fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Emperor.
Filipovic looks to land a combination but Emperor avoids it well.
Emperor should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Emperor takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Filipovic lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Emperor is looking to close the distance but Filipovic sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Emperor crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Emperor is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
