Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lime Lister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ultimo Dragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Lime Lister has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Lime Lister seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lister digs a good hook to Dragon's body.

Lister rushes Dragon and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

It looks like Ultimo Dragon has been cut.

Lister's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Lister bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dragon's guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Dragon wants to stand and escape but Lister is having none of it.

Dragon wants to clinch up but Lister keeps it at a distance.
Lister throws a nice looking combination but Dragon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lister. Dragon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dragon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Dragon throws a head kick but Lister moves out of range.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Lister uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dragon has time to react.

Dragon tries a low kick but Lister avoids it.

Dragon takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Lister closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dragon quickly recovers to half guard.
Well, if Lister is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Lister is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dragon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lister.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lister has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Lime Lister.

Dragon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Dragon drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lister manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dragon has Lister in his guard.
Lister is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Lister ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lister no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Dragon is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag.
