Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dustin Hayz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Senshi Jaa!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaa misses with an attempted mid kick.
Jaa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Hayz changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jaa looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jaa takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Jaa is looking to reverse the position.

You can see the frustration on Jaa's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jaa manages to reverse the position and now he's in Hayz's guard. Nice work there by Jaa.

Hayz has control of Jaa's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jaa regains control of the situation pretty easily.
