The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaCroix fails in his attempt to clinch.
LaCroix has a takedown stuffed.
Bate thuds a left hand into LaCroix's body.

The fight stays on the outside here - LaCroix looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bate works LaCroix's body with a nice hook.
LaCroix uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bate.

Bate fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Bate connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
LaCroix has a takedown stuffed.

Bate throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

LaCroix tries to sprawl but Bate drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Bate moves into full mount! LaCroix won't be happy about that!
