Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Cornwall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rogers's entrance music is Ready or Not - Fugees. A fine choice. Cornwall has chosen The Lucky Bullets "Folsom Prison Blues" as his entrance music. Fedor Rogers has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fedor Rogers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Ken Cornwall!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cornwall.

Cornwall ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Rogers tries to clinch but Cornwall is having none of it.
Cornwall connects with a nice looking jab.
Cornwall throws a leg kick but Rogers moved away.

Rogers lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cornwall circles away quickly and effectively.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cornwall lunges at Rogers with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Rogers's hand.
Rogers tries to move into range but Cornwall moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Rogers tries to close the distance and clinch but Cornwall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Rogers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cornwall manages to avoid it.
Cornwall motions for Rogers to come forward. Cornwall throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rogers lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cornwall has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cornwall and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Cornwall tightens his grip and picks Rogers up, before dumping him to the ground. Rogers manages to land in guard.
Cornwall won't allow Rogers to get back to his feet.

Cornwall is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Cornwall tries to free his leg and advance position but Rogers is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cornwall drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rogers dives on top into guard.

Cornwall looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rogers slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Rogers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Cornwall manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Rogers tries to reverse the position but Cornwall maintains control.

Cornwall moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Rogers has worked his arm free - good work by Rogers!

Cornwall tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cornwall has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Cornwall prevents Rogers from escaping the position.
Cornwall creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Cornwall throws an elbow but Rogers slips to the side and avoids it well.
Rogers is trying to get back to his feet.

Cornwall wants to control but Rogers is keeping him busy.

Cornwall swings around for an armbar but Rogers sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Cornwall's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
