Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jussi Kyronviita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jax Teller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Teller has chosen Rise Against - Savior as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyronviita scores with a nice head shot.
Teller is looking to clinch.
Kyronviita swats away the attempt to clinch by Teller.
Teller tries to clinch there but Kyronviita circles away.
Kyronviita fails to land with a series of punches.
Kyronviita jabs Teller right on the nose. Teller blinks but takes it well.

Kyronviita throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Teller fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kyronviita avoids it really well and circles away.

Kyronviita throws a series of punches but Teller avoids them all with ease.

Kyronviita closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Teller manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Kyronviita tries to roll over but Teller keeps him under control.
Teller is keen to just control but Kyronviita is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Teller is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Teller prevents Kyronviita from improving his position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
No joy there for Kyronviita, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Jussi Kyronviita has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jax Teller.
Teller clinches but Kyronviita breaks the clinch
letting Kyronviita counter with a right hand.
Kyronviita throws a right and a left that both miss.

and Kyronviita counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Teller slips a jab and a cross from Kyronviita.

and Kyronviita counters with a single leg into guard. Teller didn't expect that.

Teller has momentary wrist control but Kyronviita slips an elbow through the middle.
Teller working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kyronviita doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Teller is tightening it up a little... Kyronviita has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kyronviita reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kyronviita taps out! nice BJJ there by Teller!
