Marquardt comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome to the TerrorDome. Athos has chosen Thundercats as his entrance music. Jericho Marquardt could well score a knockout today. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Athos scores with a spinning back kick!
Marquardt tries to land a leg kick but Athos saw it coming and moves away.
Athos tries to close the distance and clinch but Marquardt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Marquardt tries a head kick but it misses.
Athos lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Athos blocks a head kick by Marquardt.
Crunch! Marquardt slams his shin into Athos's torso.
Marquardt scoring well with a low kick there.
Jericho Marquardt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marquardt throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Athos looks for the body kick but Marquardt saw that one coming.
Marquardt connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Marquardt throws a leg kick but Athos checks it.
Marquardt throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Marquardt gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Athos counters with an inside leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Athos takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Athos avoids the head kick by Marquardt.
Athos punishes Marquardt's body with a nice straight punch.
Athos has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Marquardt.
Athos feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Marquardt's calf.
Athos cracks Marquardt with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Athos has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Marquardt to stand back up!
Marquardt is rocked!
It looks like Jericho Marquardt has been cut.
Marquardt is breathing heavily.
Marquardt motions for Athos to come forward. Marquardt throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Athos blocks a head kick by Marquardt.
Athos pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Marquardt connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A head kick by Marquardt misses
and Athos counters with a body kick that stops Marquardt in his tracks momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Athos throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Marquardt is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
