Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bullet Bookem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Quincy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bookem comes into the arena with Solitaire Unraveling blaring out of the sound system. Quincy has chosen Requiem for a Dream as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quincy misses with a body shot.
Bookem on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Quincy shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bookem is trying to defend but Quincy finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Quincy is keen to just control but Bookem is a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Quincy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Quincy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bookem wants to stand but Quincy is controlling the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Quincy takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Damien Quincy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
