Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phil Kilo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilo lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Silva backs up against the cage.
Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kilo scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Silva tries for a takedown but Kilo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kilo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Phil Kilo will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kilo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kilo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kilo is in close to Silva's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Silva manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Silva cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Thiago Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kilo is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Kilo circles away and we're back to standing.

Kilo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Kilo stalks Silva and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Silva's face. Silva staggers backwards, shaken.

Kilo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Silva manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kilo has Silva in his guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Silva wants to control from the top but Kilo keeps moving.
Silva is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Silva's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Silva postures up in Kilo's guard and throws a big left but Kilo blocks it.
