Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sadji Nosla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah Cd!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nosla avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cd thows a leg kick but Nosla checks it
and Nosla counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Nosla misses with a few strikes there.
Cd with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Nosla blocks a low kick nicely.
Cd scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nosla doesn't seem bothered though.
Cd throws a leg kick that misses.
Noah Cd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cd darts in trying to clinch
and Nosla counters with a nice low kick that buckles Cd's knee momentarily.

Cd moves out of range of the body kick.
Nosla moves out of range of the body kick.
Nosla walks into a stiff left hand from Cd.
Cd dips to his left and cracks Nosla with an uppercut!
Cd walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Nosla checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Cd throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Cd shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Cd tries to clinch there but Nosla circles away.
Cd throws a solid leg kick but Nosla takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Cd.
Nosla moves out of range as Cd throws a body kick.
Nosla throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cd fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nosla tries to bum rush Cd with a series of wild strikes but Cd uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nosla throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cd.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cd lands a head kick!
Nosla throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Cd looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Cd scoring well with a low kick there.
Nosla takes one to the chin there.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Cd - that will leave a mark!
Nosla stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Cd.

Cd misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nosla.
Cd throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Nosla takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nosla throws a right and a left that Cd avoids nicely.
A head kick by Nosla misses
and Cd counters with an inside leg kick.
Cd closes the distance looking to clinch
and Nosla counters with a nice leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Noah Cd will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and Cd counters with a body kick that stops Nosla in his tracks momentarily.
Nosla has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
The fighters circling - Cd throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nosla avoids the head kick by Cd.
A low kick from Cd misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Cd goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nosla swings widly with a right hand
and Cd counters with a nice body kick.
Cd throws a push kick but Nosla slaps the foot to one side.
Sadji Nosla is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nosla avoids a kick to the body.

Cd throws a front kick that sends Nosla stumbling back into the cage.
Nosla throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Cd throws a poor cross that misses
and Nosla counters with a series of strikes. Cd will be more careful next time no doubt.
Nosla scores with a spinning back kick!
Nosla is looking to score with low kicks.
Cd tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nosla swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Cd counters with an outside leg kick.

Nosla throws a sloppy head kick
and Cd counters with a low kick, right behind Nosla 's knee.
Cd misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Cd takes one on the button.
Cd comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Sadji Nosla is winning the standup battle so far.
Cd avoids the head kick by Nosla.
Cd throws a leg kick
and Nosla counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cd paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Cd tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nosla swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cd tries to clinch but Nosla is having none of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A head kick by Cd misses
and Nosla counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nosla really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A low kick from Cd is predictable there
and Nosla counters with a head kick that wobbles Cd - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Nosla sends him down. This one is all over!
