Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between BJ Blyant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamiyashi Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, BJ Blyant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kamiyashi Suzuki!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blyant tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Suzuki paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Blyant doesn't manage to clinch there - Suzuki circles away.
Suzuki throws a nice looking combination but Blyant bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Blyant lands a jab-cross combination.


It looks like Kamiyashi Suzuki has been cut.

Blyant changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Suzuki tries to avoid it but Blyant manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Suzuki to the ground. Suzuki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Suzuki throws a right and a left that Blyant avoids nicely.
Suzuki bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Blyant's head.

Suzuki lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Suzuki throws a right hand that Blyant ducks under and follows up with a left that Blyant also avoids with ease.
Blyant shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Suzuki pinned against the cage. Suzuki gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Blyant is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Kamiyashi Suzuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Suzuki lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Blyant moves in looking to clinch but Suzuki pushes him off.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Suzuki lands a right hook to the body.
Blyant tries to clinch up.

and Blyant counters with a body kick that stops Suzuki in his tracks momentarily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Suzuki looks to score with a jab to the body but Blyant is just out of range.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Suzuki counters with a two punch combo.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Suzuki lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Blyant backs up against the cage.
A nice combination there by Suzuki.


Blyant is rocked!
Suzuki throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Oh Blyant is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Blyant takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Blyant seems to have got his legs back now.
Suzuki misses with a few strikes there.
No joy there for Suzuki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Blyant takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Suzuki drops Blyant with a beautiful combination! Blyant stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Suzuki is looking for the KO!
Suzuki lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Blyant dodges the punch combination from Suzuki.
Suzuki lands with a right that hurts Blyant. Blyant looks to clinch but Suzuki throws a short knee that drops Blyant. This one is all over!
