Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Me closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Martins quickly recovers to half guard.
Me prevents Martins from standing back up.
Martins wants to control but Me is keeping busy.
Me looks to land a strike but Martins avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Martins controlling Me's posture.
Me stops Martins from standing up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Me accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Martins will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Martins is pulling down on Me's head. It's preventing any offense from Me, at least for the moment.
Martins tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Martins shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Martins was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Martins lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Martins throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Me because Martins loaded up on that one.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
