Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Brent Blackadder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ollie Ferguson!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blackadder feints and as Ferguson raises his hands in defense, Blackadder changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Blackadder drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Blackadder jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blackadder is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ferguson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ferguson has escaped and now he's on top!
Ferguson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Blackadder changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ferguson fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ferguson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Blackadder manages to avoid it.

Blackadder is working for a guillotine from mount but Ferguson frees his head quite easily.

Blackadder has control of Ferguson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ferguson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Blackadder is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ferguson has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Blackadder is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Ferguson is surviving well by controlling Blackadder's body position as best he can.

Blackadder swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Ferguson is now in Blackadder's guard. A big mistake from Blackadder there, giving up the dominant position!

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Blackadder feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That's time! Blackadder's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



A momentary lapse in concentration from Ferguson enables Blackadder to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ferguson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Blackadder bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ferguson's guard.

Blackadder is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ferguson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Blackadder tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Blackadder has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Blackadder is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Ferguson looks calm but he's in trouble here. Blackadder gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Ferguson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Blackadder lets go of the hold and Ferguson can pop his arm back in it's socket.
