Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shaq Double J (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pain McGraw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Double J's entrance music is GSP - Im not impressed. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 1, fighting out of London, Shaq Double J!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Pain McGraw!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Double J swinging wildly here.
Double J shoots for a double leg takedown but McGraw sprawls well. He's pushed Double J's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
McGraw loads up on a big right hand but Double J slips the punch.
McGraw throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

McGraw tries to sprawl but Double J drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Double J wants to pass to mount but McGraw is defending the position.
McGraw has his hands clasped together around Double J's back. He's all about the action.
McGraw keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Double J has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fighters are battling for position here. McGraw manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Double J working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Double J is looking to work some ground and pound but McGraw has wrist control.

Double J is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Double J is looking to advance position but McGraw has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

McGraw tries to control but Double J wriggling away.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Double J is trying desperately to improve position.
Double J might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
McGraw looking to control and managing it successfully.
Double J tries to reverse the position but McGraw maintains control.
McGraw wants to control the pace but Double J is squirming around nicely.

McGraw controlling the position easily from mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Double J is desperately trying to improve his position but McGraw has a good base and remains in mount.
Double J is working hard here to advance position.
McGraw looking to control but Double J is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Double J wants to control but McGraw is having none of it.

McGraw sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Double J sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Pain McGraw hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
McGraw keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Shaq Double J will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


McGraw takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Horrible takedown by Double J or perhaps it was just good defense by McGraw which made him look bad.

McGraw throws a right hand that Double J ducks under and follows up with a left that Double J also avoids with ease.
Donk. Double J catches McGraw right on the button with a cross.
McGraw cracks a nice hook into Double J's ribs.

A decent looking cross lands there for McGraw.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Double J is defended easily by McGraw.

Double J tries to keep at a distance but McGraw has taken the fight into the clinch.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

McGraw seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Double J does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
McGraw prevents Double J from improving his position.
Double J is staying active underneath McGraw, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Double J wants to improve his position but McGraw is controlling well.
Double J is refusing to be controlled, as McGraw sits in half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Double J goes for a takedown in the clinch but McGraw prevents it.

McGraw tries to work over Double J's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
McGraw gets underhooks to prevent Double J's takedown attempt.
Double J is trying to drag McGraw to the mat but McGraw just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

McGraw jumps guard and drags Double J to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Double J throws a strike but McGraw rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
McGraw wants to control from the top but Double J keeps moving.

McGraw keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Double J's head.

Double J shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McGraw's guard.

Double J throws and elbow that misses. McGraw uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Double J's guard. Nice move by McGraw!

Pain McGraw showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Double J is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

McGraw lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Double J or not.
McGraw unloads a knee to the mid-section. Double J lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

McGraw lands a left hand that snaps the head of Double J backwards.
McGraw lands with a light punch inside.

Double J tries for a takedown but McGraw manages to get underhooks.

McGraw breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

McGraw closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - McGraw lands in his opponent's guard.

Double J is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Double J is working an open guard so McGraw takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
McGraw swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Double J counters with a takedown into side control.
McGraw manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Double J is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

McGraw controls Double J momentarily but Double J frees himself.
Double J stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McGraw swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McGraw wants to sweep but no luck.
Double J in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
McGraw keeping moving, preventing Double J from controlling successfully.
Double J slips nicely into half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Pain McGraw comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think McGraw has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
