Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Masakatsu Ueda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karr Mike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Masakatsu Ueda!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karr Mike!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ueda feints and then cracks Mike's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mike down.
Karr Mike seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ueda fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mike fails to land with a series of punches.
Mike misses with a series of wild punches.
Mike lands a glancing blow to the side of Ueda's head.
Mike tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mike tries to bum rush Ueda with a series of wild strikes but Ueda uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ueda closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ueda lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Karr Mike has been cut.
Ueda stalling.
Ueda decides to pull guard.
Ueda throws his legs up looking for a submission but Mike uses it to pass to side control.
Ueda is looking for a sweep.
Mike really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ueda. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ueda holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Mike gets to mount! Ueda was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Ueda wants to control but Mike is having none of it.
Ueda is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mike wants to get back to his feet but Ueda is holding on tight.
Ueda tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Ueda is working hard here to advance position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mike avoids the attempt from Ueda to control.
Ueda has given up his back here.
Will Mike go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Ueda looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Karr Mike will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Karr Mike's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Some wild striking there from Mike.
Mike throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ueda sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ueda drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Masakatsu Ueda.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Ueda throws a head kick that half lands.
Ueda displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mike throws out the jab.
Mike throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ueda sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mike takes a swing at Ueda's ribcage but misses.
Mike lands a left and a right that send Ueda crashing to the mat, dazed. Mike thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Ueda is rocked!
Ueda forces Mike back against the cage and clinches.
Oh Ueda is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ueda throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Mike stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Ueda's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Ueda lands an elbow that stopped Mike in his tracks for a moment.
Ueda is working for takedown but Mike is calmly controlling the position for now.
A shot in the inside from Mike.
Mike gets through Ueda's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mike digs a right hand into Ueda's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Ueda's gas tank.
Mike works on Ueda's body with a couple of short punches.
Mike lands a nice uppercut.

Mike is working Ueda over against the cage.
Mike lands a nice uppercut.

Mike lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ueda backwards.
Mike doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Mike throws a punch but it's blocked by Ueda.
Mike lands with a right to the head.
Mike lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ueda backwards.
Mike scores with a shot to the side of Ueda's head.
Mike lands a nice uppercut.
Mike is leaning against Ueda and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Mike swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Mike fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Mike working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Mike lands an uppercut.
Mike creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Ueda with a big uppercut! Ueda tries to clinch up but Mike pushes him back against the cage and lands another moster strike that crumples Ueda to the mat! Ueda covers up and Mike unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Karr Mike!
Karr Mike is the new featherweight champion!
