Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Alvarado defends it nicely.
Max Alvarado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alvarado misses with a takedown attempt

and Bi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Alvarado won't be happy with that.
Bi tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Bi advances nicely into full mount.
Alvarado holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Bi tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Bi working for a guillotine from mount but Alvarado is in no mood to give up.

Bi moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Alvarado has worked his arm free - good work by Alvarado!
Alvarado knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bi on the ground.

Bi is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Alvarado has escaped the position, nice work there.

Bi goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Alvarado has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bi but great work by Alvarado.

Bi is looking to regain half guard here but Alvarado keeps moving and retains side control.

Alvarado tries for a kimura but Bi is defending well.
Bi manages to get back to half guard.
Bi keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Bi moves into full guard.

Bi has his foot on Alvarado's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Alvarado works his way back into a safe position though.

Bi manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Bi is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Bi extends the arm and Alvarado is forced to tap!
