The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leban will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Leban tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Salvati swivels and escapes.
Chris Leban seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leban shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Salvati as he avoids it easily.
Max Salvati has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Leban.
Leban looks gassed!
Good leg kick by Salvati there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Salvati lunges at Leban with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Leban's hand.
It looks like Chris Leban has been cut.
Salvati lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Leban falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
