Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shinya Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Scruv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shinya Aoki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tom Scruv!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scruv throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Aoki.
Aoki tries to move into range but Scruv moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Scruv misses with a series of wild punches.

Aoki feints and as Scruv raises his hands in defense, Aoki changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Scruv is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Scruv has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Aoki can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Scruv manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Aoki manages to get himself to full guard.

Scruv wants to control from the top but Aoki keeps moving.

Aoki has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Scruv should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Aoki has tightened it up now! Scruv should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
