Lopes looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Nogueira regains half guard.

Nogueira looking for submissions off his back.

Nogueira makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Nogueira closes the distance and pushes Lopes back into the cage.

Lopes is fighting off a takedown attempt but Nogueira is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lopes to the mat. Lopes regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Nogueira drops back looking for a leg! Lopes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lopes manages to kick Nogueira off! Nogueira jumps back into Lopes's guard.

Nogueira stands and throws Lopes's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Nogueira is working to tighten is grip on Lopes's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Lopes has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Nogueira is really squeezing tight and eventually Lopes passes out! Nogueira breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
