Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Tulbure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryant stuffs the takedown attempt from Tulbure. Tulbure gets slowly back to his feet.
Tulbure is looking to clinch but Bryant is avoiding it.
Tulbure shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bryant as he avoids it easily.
Tulbure throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bryant's waist but Bryant gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tulbure off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Maxim Tulbure. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bryant shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Bryant thows a huge punch but Tulbure dodges it nicely.
Bryant wants to take a breather but Tulbure is having none of it.
Tulbure trying to control but Bryant postures up.
Bryant perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Bryant wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tulbure keeps working.
Bryant frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Bryant goes for an armbar but Tulbure turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Tulbure.
Tulbure has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Tulbure throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Tulbure wants to get up but he can't break Bryant's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Bryant manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Bryant looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Bryant can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tulbure is looking to escape.

Bryant is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Tulbure has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Tulbure!
Bryant looks gassed!
Tulbure wants to control from the top but Bryant keeps moving.

Bryant tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Tulbure thows a big elbow that misses.
Bryant keeping moving, preventing Tulbure from controlling successfully.
Tulbure stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bryant swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bryant not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Tulbure stands up and waves to Bryant to follow him.
Tulbure fails with the takedown

and Bryant counters with a single leg into guard. Tulbure didn't expect that.
Tulbure wants to stand but Bryant is controlling the position.
Bryant working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Bryant advances to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Greg Bryant dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bryant shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bryant was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Bryant is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Tulbure shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Bryant counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Bryant in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Tulbure tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Bryant!
