The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Slysizzle.
Slysizzle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
cook fails with a takedown attempt.
cook shoots in looking for a takedown. Slysizzle tries to sprawl out of it but cook keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slysizzle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
cook dives in and grabs Slysizzle's left leg, looking for a takedown. Slysizzle pushes down on cook's head and hops out.
Kimbo Slysizzle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of ben cook.
Slysizzle throws a series of punches but cook moves out of range.

It looks like ben cook has been cut.
Slysizzle takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Slysizzle bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
cook slips under a jab from Slysizzle.

Slysizzle gets a clinch.
cook jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Slysizzle walks away with a smile on his face. cook gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
cook bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
