Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Repe Sorsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimitry McFarlen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Repe Sorsa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dimitry McFarlen!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sorsa's corner calls for a 1-2. Sorsa obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
The crowd cheers as McFarlen lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sorsa doesn't seem phased though.
McFarlen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McFarlen bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sorsa's head.
McFarlen keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sorsa.
Sorsa throws out a loose jab but McFarlen uses good head movement to avoid it.

Sorsa lands with a shot to the body.
McFarlen is looking to clinch.
McFarlen throws a looping overhand right but Sorsa ducks down to avoid it.

Sorsa decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Sorsa wants to advance to full mount but McFarlen doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Sorsa slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Sorsa throws a strike but McFarlen rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Sorsa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Repe Sorsa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Sorsa lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
McFarlen tries to clinch up.
Sorsa misses with a shot to the body
and McFarlen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Sorsa tries to score a power double leg takedown but McFarlen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sorsa somewhat.
Sorsa sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
McFarlen moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

I've got McFarlen winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
