Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Javier Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anders Lundin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Javier Vega has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Javier Vega seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lundin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
No joy there for Lundin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Vega fails to land the takedown.
Lundin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Vega sends Lundin crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Vega is motioning to the referee to let Lundin up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Lundin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vega. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

I looks like Lundin might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Vega really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Vega had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lundin is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Vega Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lundin's back instead.
Lundin has hold of Vega's arm. He needs to escape this position sooner or later but for now he's happy enough to control the position and prevent the submission attempts.
