The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson is looking to score with low kicks.
Onatopp shoots in and gets a takedown into Johnson's guard.
Johnson wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Onatopp throwing strikes from guard but Johnson blocks nicely.

Onatopp throws a strike but Johnson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Onatopp really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Onatopp wants to sweep but no luck.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Onatopp can do anything to dispel that myth.
Onatopp controls Johnson momentarily but Johnson frees himself.
Johnson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Onatopp throws a looping overhand right but Johnson ducks down to avoid it.
Johnson lands with a nice combination. Onatopp backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Sergei Onatopp has been cut.
Onatopp shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Johnson is trying to defend but Onatopp finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Onatopp lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Johnson! More strikes land and this one is all over! Onatopp jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
