The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

West rushes agaev and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
West misses with an elbow over the top.
West creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

agaev wants a takedown but no success here.

West works on agaev's body with a couple of short punches.

West lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

West pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
West throws a body punch but agaev moves out of range.
West throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
West slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
West connects with a body shot.
agaev shoots in for a takedown but West shows good takedown defense.
West drops agaev with a straight right hand, right on the button! West follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
