Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Soriano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augusto Ricardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soriano kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is "Filipino" by The Black Eyed Peas. Augusto Ricardo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricardo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Soriano.
Soriano slips a jab from Ricardo.

Ricardo swings for the body but Soriano moves out of range.
Soriano throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Soriano throws a nice looking combination but Ricardo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Soriano uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ricardo.

Soriano misses with a two punch combination.
Soriano thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ricardo if he has to take too many more of those.

Ricardo shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Ricardo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Soriano with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Soriano tries to roll over but Ricardo keeps him under control.
