Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jahlil Muntu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nilo Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jahlil Muntu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nilo Da Silva!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Da Silva.

Muntu moves into range and clinches up with Da Silva.
Da Silva fails to pull guard.

Da Silva has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Muntu uses from the top position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Da Silva has his foot on Muntu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Muntu works his way back into a safe position though.

Da Silva is working an open guard so Muntu takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Muntu throws a right and a left that Da Silva avoids nicely.
Muntu scores with a one two! Da Silva had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Da Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jahlil Muntu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nilo Da Silva.

Muntu swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice takedown defense from Muntu. No joy for Da Silva on that attempt.
Da Silva shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Muntu defends it nicely.

Muntu closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Da Silva postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Muntu could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Da Silva postures up in Muntu's guard and throws a big left but Muntu blocks it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Da Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Da Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Da Silva is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Muntu is trying to escape and Da Silva transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Muntu is forced to tap! Nice work there by Da Silva! Very nice indeed!
