The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John ducks under a wild hook from Sibley.

Sibley gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
John wants to pass the guard but Sibley is defending well.
Sibley is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sibley throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Sibley is trying to maintain the position but John is very close to passing his half guard.
John tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sibley knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Sibley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
John prevents Sibley from improving his position.
