Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jaroslaw Jaro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gordon Frahman!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jaro clinches up against the cage.

and Jaro counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jaro has gone for a leg lock! Frahman slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jaro's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

and Jaro counters with a shoot takedown. Frahman fights it but they end up in guard.

Jaro drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Frahman manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jaro has Frahman in his guard.
Frahman wants to stand but Jaro has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Jaro wants to sweep here but Frahman controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Frahman is breathing heavily.
Jaro is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Jaro jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Frahman walks away with a smile on his face. Jaro gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Frahman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Jaro counters with a takedown into side control.

Jaro goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Frahman rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Jaro's guard! Nice work there by Frahman!

Frahman decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Jaro, up you get!

Frahman shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jaro manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Frahman gets to his feet - Jaro follows without any prompting.
Jaroslaw Jaro is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Frahman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Frahman showed some decent athleticism there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jaro is pressing down on Frahman's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Jaro is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Frahman has managed to free his arm - good work.
Frahman is looking to escape.

Jaro wants to work for an arm triangle but Frahman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
