Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anupo Anubis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Winchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anubis shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Winchester napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anubis takes a little break here. Winchester wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Winchester is trying to get back to half guard.

Winchester really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anubis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Anubis throws a strike aimed at the side of Winchester's head but Winchester avoids it well.

Winchester is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Anubis has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

We're going to have a standup here because Anupo Anubis wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Anubis is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Winchester looks calm but he's in trouble here. Anubis gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Winchester is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Anubis lets go of the hold and Winchester can pop his arm back in it's socket.
