The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putman comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
dasilva takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
dasilva drops his hands momentarily and Putman takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Putman displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from dasilva.
Putman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
dasilva looks gassed!
Putman tests dasilva's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Putman lands a body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It looks like jesus dasilva has been cut.
Putman is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
dasilva gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Putman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
dasilva takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
