PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Crombie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying David's choice of entrance music: Craig David - Rise and Fall. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Craig David!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

David looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
David throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

David gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Crombie to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Crombie on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Crombie tries to get out of the position.
Crombie seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

David is nestled in close to Crombie, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Crombie wants to control but David is keeping busy.

Well Crombie has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
