Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alii Papakolea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diesel Kreedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Papakolea comes into the arena with Barrington Levy - Murderer blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Papakolea doesn't manage to clinch there - Kreedy circles away.
Alii Papakolea seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kreedy misses with a two punch combination.
Kreedy swats away the attempt to clinch by Papakolea.
Papakolea tries to clinch but Kreedy moves out of range.

Kreedy throws a left that rocks Papakolea and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Kreedy dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Papakolea regain composure!

It looks like Alii Papakolea has been cut.

Kreedy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Papakolea keeps working.

Kreedy tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Papakolea pushes Kreedy away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kreedy gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Kreedy looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Papakolea is avoiding damage well.
Kreedy misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kreedy is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Papakolea will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Papakolea is trying to escape the position but Kreedy is controlling the position.
Kreedy has knee on belly momentarily but Papakolea bucks him off and regains half guard.

Kreedy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kreedy keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Kreedy's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Papakolea wants to get back to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kreedy passes to side control.
The ground and pound from Kreedy seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
The referee asks Kreedy politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kreedy prefers to stall for the moment though.
Sloppy strikes there by Kreedy.
Kreedy working the strikes but Papakolea uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Kreedy seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Papakolea avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kreedy.
Papakolea pushes Kreedy off looking to stand but Kreedy dives back in and keeps control.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kreedy throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Papakolea stumbling backwards into the cage! Papakolea bounces back off the cage towards Kreedy, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Kreedy lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Kreedy celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
