The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Miles misses.
Sanchez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Miles pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Miles misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sanchez moves away from the strike by Miles.
Miles thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sanchez tries to close the distance and clinch but Miles swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sanchez looks for a takedown but Miles sprawls well.
Miles defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sanchez.
Sanchez takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Miguel Sanchez has been cut.
Miles looks to land a right hand but Sanchez moved out of range.
Sanchez fails with a takedown attempt.
Kent Miles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miguel Sanchez.
Miles takes a swing at Sanchez's ribcage but misses.
Miles lands a high kick to the side of Sanchez's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Miles dives into guard, looking to finish.
Miles trying to control but Sanchez is working from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miles accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Miles passes easily into side control. Nice work.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sanchez can do anything to dispel that myth.
Miles working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Miles has control of an arm but Sanchez manages to advance to Miles's back!
Sanchez is still in real trouble! Can Miles finish him?
Miles manages to reverse the position and now he's in Sanchez's guard. Nice work there by Miles.

Sanchez seems to have recovered his senses.
Miles forces his way into half guard.

Miles thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sanchez's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sanchez is not content to let Miles control the position.
Miles takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Miles throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Miles works his way into full mount!
Miles connects with a bit shot that sees Sanchez covering up! More strikes from Miles and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Miles is our winner by TKO!
