Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Jon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mo Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Indestructible. Kyle Jon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mo Lester!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jon drops Lester with a nice combination! Jon dives into Lester's guard, looking to finish!

Lester steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jon.

Jon stalks Lester and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lester's face. Lester staggers backwards, shaken.
Jon wants to clinch but Lester slips to the side

Jon is looking to stand up but Lester isn't so interested in that idea.
Lester won't allow Jon to sweep him here.
Jon wants to get back to his feet but Lester is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Jon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Jon is looking to stand up but Lester isn't so interested in that idea.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jon throws a right hand that Lester ducks under and follows up with a left that Lester also avoids with ease.

Lester has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lester blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Lester fails to pull guard.

Jon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
An inside leg kick lands from Lester.
Kyle Jon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jon tries to bum rush Lester with a series of wild strikes but Lester uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lester shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jon's guard.
Jon has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Lester has passed into side control.
Lester trying to control the action but Jon is working from the bottom.

Jon wants to get back to his feet.
Jon is trying to control Lester's posture but Lester avoids it.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Jon is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
What's Jon going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle.
Jon tries to buck Lester off but Lester is having none of it.

Mo Lester showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Jon lands a glancing blow to the side of Lester's head.

and Lester counters with a single leg into guard. Jon didn't expect that.

Jon has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Lester off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Lester takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Jon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jon looks to land a combination but Lester avoids it well.
Jon throws a left and a right that both miss

and Lester counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jon won't be happy with that.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lester content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Lester decides to stand back up. Lester steps back and let's Jon get back to his feet.

Jon takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Jon throws a combination that misses

and Lester moves into the clinch.
A short uppercut from Jon.
Jon cracks Lester with a nice body shot.
with the fighters clinched against the cage, Jon creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Jon falls off balance throwing a combination

and Lester counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lester.
Lester won't allow Jon to sweep him here.

Lester thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Jon wants to get back to his feet but Lester is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Jon is pulling down on Lester's head to control his posture.
Lester won't allow Jon to sweep him here.
Jon pulls Lester in close to prevent any damage.
Lester stops Jon from standing up.

Lester looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Jon wants to control but Lester passes easily into half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jon has a hand on Lester's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Lester takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Lester prevents Jon from getting the reversal.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jon tries to hold on but Lester postures up.
Jon is trying to stand.

Mo Lester comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Lester has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
