The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sarsola pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
eru throws a series of punches but Sarsola moves out of range.
Sarsola getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
eru fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sarsola blocks a head kick by eru.
eru misses with an uppercut. Sarsola saw that one coming.

Sarsola darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
eru is trying to stand up here but Sarsola is controlling him well.

Sarsola is going oldschool here, as he tries to force eru to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so eru shrugs it off.

Sarsola lands a nice shot to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

eru really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sarsola. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
eru wants to hold on but Sarsola pushes him away.
Sarsola fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sarsola is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Sarsola looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Sarsola has control of eru's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and eru regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Sarsola has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
eru is desperately trying to improve his position but Sarsola has a good base and remains in mount.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Sarsola won't let eru get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
