Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Greg Mungo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandre Pato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pato has chosen Ride of the Valkyries - Robert Wagner as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mungo connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Mungo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A big left from Mungo misses.
Mungo stuns Pato with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Pato fails with a takedown attempt.
Mungo throws a body punch but Pato moves out of range.
Pato fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Greg Mungo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mungo throws a series of punches but Pato moves out of range.
Pato throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mungo lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Pato shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Mungo is positioning himself well to prevent Pato advancing to mount.
Pato seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mungo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Mungo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Pato trying to mount his opponent but Mungo defends it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Mungo connects with a looping right hand.
Mungo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Pato is rocked!

It looks like Alexandre Pato has been cut.
Mungo drops Pato with a straight right hand, right on the button! Mungo follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
