Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alpha Chino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Brutus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alpha Chino could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Marcus Brutus's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chino slaps away a takedown attempt from Brutus, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Brutus tries to close the distance and clinch but Chino swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Chino misses with a kick to the body.
Chino takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Brutus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chino as he avoids it easily.

Brutus shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Chino manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Brutus postures up in Chino's guard and throws a big left but Chino blocks it.

Chino can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brutus accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
