Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Adama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benjamin Wentworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wentworth has chosen Extreme Ways - Moby as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Reed Andrews and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adama avoids the body shot from Wentworth.
Wentworth throws a big shot that misses.
Wentworth throws a hook but Adama blocks it.
A big left from Wentworth misses.
Adama lands a jab to Wentworth's midsection.
Wentworth avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Adama lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wentworth throws a predictable looking body shot
and Adama counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The fighters circling - Wentworth throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wentworth misses with a jab, cross combination.
Adama fails with an attempt to clinch.
Adama drives through and clinches with Wentworth against the cage.

Adama gets control of Wentworth's arms and successfully pulls guard. Adama will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Adama had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wentworth defends it easily.
Wentworth has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Adama is proving hard to escape from.

Wentworth won't allow Adama to sweep him here.
Wentworth wants to stand but Adama is controlling his posture from full guard.
Wentworth decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and Adama counters with a stiff right hand.
Wentworth tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Adama was well out of range. Poor timing from Wentworth.
Adama defending well as Wentworth loads up on a big left hand.
Adama cracks a nice hook into Wentworth's ribs.

Adama closes the distance and pushes Wentworth back into the cage.
Adama decides to pull guard.
Adama has his foot on Wentworth's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wentworth works his way back into a safe position though.

Wentworth gets to his feet - Adama follows without any prompting.
Adama moves in looking to clinch but Wentworth pushes him off.
A jab from Wentworth misses.
A left and a right from Adama both land. Nice combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Adama has managed to clinch.
Wentworth manages to break the clinch.
Wentworth misses with a combination
and Adama counters with a good low kick that Wentworth was not able to check.
Adama ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Adama scores with a jab to the jaw.
Adama gets the takedown into side control.
Adama lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Wentworth down.
Wentworth is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Adama has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Wentworth!

Adama has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Wentworth's face.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Adama is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Wentworth is surviving well by controlling Adama's body position as best he can.
Wentworth tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Adama in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Wentworth can't escape the position.
Wentworth tries to buck Adama off so he can stand up but Adama has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Wentworth falls backwards, slamming Adama to the mat but Adama holds on tight! Wentworth is forced to tap and this one is all over!
